Our achievements

The countries that created the Regional Initiative have prioritized a number of issues of intervention, called acceleration factors we believe we should work together and urgently on, either because there are active and meaningful experiences that need to be driven, or because on the contrary, these are issues that have been underrepresented on the political agenda and we need to act on them because they have the potential to improve the performance of the national response to the situation of child labor.

During the Roundtable on South - South Cooperation dubbed "Partners in Action" (Brasilia, 1 – 3 July 2015), our Focal Points Network met with representatives of cooperation agencies from 22 countries and regional employers’ and workers’ representatives. At this table we managed to reach 82 South - South Cooperation agreements to work on the acceleration factors identified, with "new technologies" and "youth employment" obtaining the largest number of agreements.
